We have a number of up-coming opportunities to support Educational institutions across the Yorkshire and Humberside area looking for experienced Examination and Assessment Invigilators.

This is a vital role for maintaining smooth and efficient running of examinations which enable candidates to perform at their best.

As an invigilator, you will have responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of further education examinations and assessments, providing one-to-one support, or small group based support to candidates.

​

This will include clear, verbal dictation of the examination regulations and requirements, ensuring that all candidates are adhering to the examination regulations at all times.You will need to be confident and supportive to all candidates ensuring you are clear in your instructions and able to reassure and guide candidates into the examination room. You may at times need to scribe or read on behalf of the candidates, reading questions, or pupils written answers only. You will be required to ensure the examination room is setup in the correct examination conditions, placing adequate signage, distributing and collecting confidential question papers, attendance monitoring, escorting candidates if required and reporting malpractice should this occur.

It is ESSENTIAL you have had recent (within the last 12 months) previous experience within an Educational Institution as an Invigilator.

Roles are on a part time basis, and the hours will be dependent on the educational institution and examinations.

Rates of pay range from £8-£10.50 per hour
